GiD
Call me GiD. What exactly does that stand for? Well, get enough alcohol in me and you'll find out for youself.
I am for the most part a Gentoo-Linux Nut. I've been running gentoo since 2004 and haven't looked back.
I also run Mac OS X as a secondary OS. As for windows... I try to avoid having to run i
t if there is an alternative out there. Linux is an awesome alternative to dealing with constant blue-screens and repat
ching. So long as you keep an open mind and are willing to learn you can have one heck of a replacement OS.
My Hobbies:
At the moment I have quite a few projects going on. I am one of the founding administrators of
Telephreak.Org. A project started by a few friends about
three years ago. Utilizing asterisk I can do almost anything in the telephone system. The Telephreak project was
mentioned in
Wired Magazine
a few years ago. You can check out some of the projects I've written for Telephreak over
here.
I own a hand-held trunking scanner which I put to heavy usage. I am currently studying for my amature radio license.
I currently do part-time website design and developement work. XHTML, CSS, & PHP are what I know best. You can visit
my website
